Import a supplier price list into Square

A price list is a supplier document, not a catalog. It carries cost, sometimes a suggested retail price, and columns Square has no field for. This page turns one into a Square import file. Map cost and price once and the mapping is kept against that supplier, so next month is a drop and a download. Money is parsed as money, so 1,234.50 and 1.234,50 arrive as the same number. A currency symbol does not turn the column into text. A blank price cell stays blank on purpose. Square reads a blank Price as a variable priced item. That is what you want for a product you have not priced yet. Drop your Square export too and each row shows its margin.
