Where do I get the Square item import template?
In the Square Dashboard, open the item library, then Actions, then Export Library, and click Blank import library (opens in a new tab). That file has instructions at the top and sample text above each column, and you type in every row yourself.

The template columns that get filled in
Item Name, Variation Name, SKU, GTIN, Description, Categories and Price come from the supplier columns you map. A product without variations gets Regular as its Variation Name. Cost and the columns Square has no field for are covered in how the CSV converter lays out a file.
The Token column stays empty, so every row creates a new item. If you want to change items you already sell, start from your own export and update existing Square items.
