Import stock counts into Square from a spreadsheet

A supplier file usually carries a quantity column, and Square has somewhere to put it. The import template holds a New Quantity column for each location, and Square treats that number as a replacement, not an addition. Enter 12 and the count becomes 12. Enter 0 and the count for that location is set to zero. That makes a careless quantity import worse than no import at all. This page maps supplier quantity to the right location column. It shows the count each item would end up with before you download anything. You can instead add supplier quantity to the stock Square already holds, read from the Current Quantity column of your own export. The file is read here and never uploaded.
